Hope this finds you all well. I thought it was about time for another edition of Dorkline News….where I update my current events in headline form.
But first! Random current factage!
Puddin Face is just such a delight I still marvel that I’m worthy of her. She’s learning so fast I’m wondering how long it will be before we have to start watching what we say
She is 17 weeks old today and I can’t even believe how quickly the time has gone! Now I know what everyone means. She surprised the heck out of me last week (and made me cry, cuz I’m just a big ol’ sap) by displaying a new ability….I was reading to her and she TURNED THE PAGES HERSELF in her board book! I was completely shocked and amazed, and it wasn’t just a fluke….she’s been doing it ever since!
Then yesterday she grabbed my Gatorade bottle in both hands and tilted it towards her and sucked on the sippy cap. I swear she sees something once and she can do it! I am continually in awe of this little wonder. I think I’m tired now….wait til she starts crawling! Oh, my. And talk about vocal…this little girl has all sorts of things to say!
