i just can’t get enough

Greetings gentle readers!

Are you sick of me yet?

Good. Because *just* after I got done with my long-overdue tag, I got tagged AGAIN by one of the funniest people I’ve never met, the lovely and talented Vincent. Actually he was pretty gentle. I know. I feel so special. And a little dirty. Two tags in one week?

Oh well….like I always say…a bad reputation is still a reputation!

(Actually I just made that up but it sounded clever. It’s most likely not even an original thought. Nevermind)

Of course, in an effort to mix things up a bit yet again, I’m not going to give you just 10 random things about me….(ok, I’ll give you ONE…I like burned things. I like my toast burned and my grilled cheese burned and my marshmallows BLACK and that crusty stuff around the edges of oven-baked dishes. I hope you’re happy.)

Instead, in light of some recent discussions on the topic, I am going to give you:

10 reasons I’m glad I’m not a guy

1) (btw Alan I need to you to explain that trick better because it didn’t work so obviously I’m confused lol)……First and foremost, I’m glad that I can grow a person. That I am able to nourish and sustain a new life inside my very own person. Discomfort and labor and all that other stuff pale in comparison, and there is just nothing quite like that bond between mother and child (Britney Spears not included).

2) I don’t have to get drunk to show my emotions.

3) I can purchase new underwear before the old ones become a health hazard.

4) I can stop eating when I’m full, and stop drinking when I’m tipsy.

5) I don’t have any scars involving childhood and BB guns.

6) I don’t have the constant need to a) scratch my genitals no matter where I am or b) make certain they are still there.

7) My farts don’t kill people.

8 ) The bathroom is just the bathroom….not a combination library/solarium.

9) The world doesn’t stop because I have a head cold.

and finally, (though believe me I could go on…) I’m glad I’m not a guy because…

10) I don’t constantly have the need to one-up my peers.

Ladies, feel free to add your own.
And guys….feel free to add your own rebuttals…or agreements. Ya know, if you’re man enough.

I love you guys. I really do. I’m just….glad I’m not one of you
